Faculty and Campus Development at Ohio Campus Compact seeks to provide our member institutions with training, resources, and networking opportunities in order to fully realize their unique civic missions and advance best practices in civic engagement
Opportunities through Faculty & Campus Development include:
Training and Technical Assistance
OCC conducts trainings, informational sessions, staff development workshops, and strategic planning consultations for member campuses to begin and extend the civic engagement conversations and initiatives. We are also available to consult on a variety of topics as well as connect campuses to national speakers and scholars on a given subject matter related to service-learning, engaged scholarship, and community partnership.
Resources and Publications
OCC coordinates the availability of the latest literature and scholarship on civic engagement. This includes the advancement and facilitation of publication and research opportunities throughout the state.
Regional Collaboration
OCC provides opportunities for networking, partnership building, and cross-stream trainings through our regional networking meetings, leadership symposia for campus
constituencies, and involvement in state and national consortia.
