Join the League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Columbus us as we celebrate the 28th year of the Democracy In Action award, the League’s highest honor. The 2019 Honoree is Ted Celeste, founder of the Next Generation program at the National Institute for Civil Discourse. LWVMC is proud to announce that Ted Celeste has been chosen as the recipient of Democracy In Action Award for 2019. Honorary Co-Chairs for the event are former Ohio Governor and brother Richard Celeste, former Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court Yvette McGee Brown, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose, and former Franklin County Deputy Administrator William J. Flaherty.
