Because of generous corporate sponsorships, we are able to offer this conference to all participants free of charge. Plus, most meals are covered during the conference. Meeting Ohio’s Education Attainment Goal Summit

The Higher Education Compact has been working with a number of partners statewide to increase educational attainment in Ohio. A tremendous amount of work must be done if we are to reach the state’s 65% postsecondary attainment goal by 2025.   Collectively, we have put together a day-long summit in Columbus that will walk you through data on Ohio’s performance on key P-20 and workforce indicators.   We hope you will join us for what will be an important discussion on educational attainment, an issue critical to our community.

17th annual Imagining America conference

The conference is a space where publicly engaged artists, designers, scholars, students and culture workers come together for a three-day immersive experience. The 2017 conference will feature an opening plenary session celebrating IA’s new partnership with UC Davis, a plenary session led by Randy Martin Spirit Award recipient and 2016 MacArthur Fellow Anne Basting, and site specific workshops led by leaders at sites in the host region where people are engaged in robust cultural organizing and transformative action.

Student Sustainability Leaders: Networking Our Future

Students, faculty, and professionals across Ohio are invited to attend Student Sustainability Leaders: Networking Our Future, a student-run, student-centric conference celebrating undergraduate and graduate contributions to the interdisciplinary field of sustainability. This event is in partnership with The National Council for Science and the Environment and its Ohio member colleges: University of Dayton, University of Toledo, Ohio State University, University of Findlay, and Oberlin College.
